You will find just the right program at the Indy Language Center. We offer programs for all children, teens, students, adults and business executives. Classes are offered at our offices, your home or business, as well as over the Internet. Below is a list of all of our adult group Spanish courses. Conversational Portuguese I
Fala português? Our beginning level Portuguese course introduces students to the basic concepts of the language while focusing on Portuguese as a part of everyday life. Topics include common greetings, asking for and giving personal information, basic vocabulary for travelers, colors and numbers, and the fundamentals of pronunciation. Students will learn to hold a basic conversation after this course on the topics that were covered in class. This class meets for six weeks for 120 minutes per class.

Conversational Portuguese II
This course is a continuation of Conversational Portuguese I or an entry level class for students who have previously studied Portuguese. In this course the basics of Portuguese grammar are introduced, but most emphasis is placed on listening comprehension and vocabulary building. Students gain greater confidence in using Portuguese in everyday situations.

Intermediate Portuguese I
Students who have already mastered the basics of Portuguese should enroll in the course designed for intermediate-level students. Expand your vocabulary and conversational abilities while fine-tuning your pronunciation and sentence structure. Continue to learn more about the cultures of Brazil and Portugal.

Conversational Portuguese III
Our advanced intermediate class prepares students to rely on Portuguese as the sole means of communication. The class focuses on building vocabulary and improving semantics as students practice everyday conversation with a native speaker.

Travel Essentials: Portuguese
Planning to visit Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo? Want to get the most our of next year's Carnaval? Join us for a three-hour class designed specifically for travelers. Learn basic phrases to use while visiting Brazil and take home a CD to help you practice on the plane.
